For me there are a lot of things to draw together, but not necessarily more than.... When I read the (Session 1) transcript.. we had to speak about our desire .. it is like monologs but then the first material comes and it is possible to make connection. Maybe it is a question of the address. Its hard for me to concentrate on and work as we haven’t determined a common ground or theme - there was of course the sources – but everyone has their own preoccupations or desires. Maybe I am so used to work on precise focus that it is hard to see what can be my position in an...The thing with this year in general is hat I supposed to end school and have a kind of... I don’t know what ... but I get it from the school. Last year it was less an issue with conclusions, but this year it’s a bit more problematic because I have to find something that should be my work. I stll don’t know if it is better or worse with having some defined conclusion. It is often that way with experiment. In this school the more I think the more I doubt. You have to rethink everything every time. In university you have a specific field, or discipline, there is more or less regulations. In art school there is a way of interdisciplinary and references can come from everywhere, as justification or source or according to its.. In a way it is more comfortable with having the rules, to find a way that you... Is it a problem?… it is good and bad. It is bad in that I am doubting too much, and I have the feeling that some can take their position easier, and taking something and working with it, and I am not very good to defend a territory.. the problem is the way we have to present work and justify them, in the institution of art school, we have to be in a position to justify everything we did and everything we didn’t do. The justification, or this way I am not comfortable with....For my final CCC project, the three components are the relation between the eye level, the level also of medium, of understanding. Swich from concrete visual level and comprehension. 

What I found interesting in the "rapport du group de travail", is that it is funny, I had never read that kind of material before. It is funny to see what teachers from the school can write about their ideas. For me it was very strange that … how naïve they can be. Making group de travail sound so serious, I was very surprised how much was romantic ideas of school, of two schools getting together and having more money, no one fired, it is just completely … I can imagine it is a wonderful dream but not realistic in any way. So for me it was so odd, such a serious text and such a romantic response. The story of the school that is ther is just to draw a line and justify the new direction for the school. But in fact it is about seperation. The student committee had to read all this stuff, know the history, defend different positions. It is really strange that the committee is the only one that did some information in the school. It is battle for legitimacy, there is no director, just interim, so no one takes him as authority until there is a final resolution. When he did his speech he was questioning the legitimacy of the students association, and not recognizing the work the students did. This was the reply to the students. So the battle of legitimacy was between the two.

I transcribed the video of Buren and Nouvel. What interested me when Buren was speaking of museums specialized discourse and that is why it is not public space, as maybe some other building can be. I have some doubts of how to intepret, I have the feeling Buren is skeptical to some of what Nouvel says. Sometimes Nouvel tries to publically make a deal with Buren, we are going to work together, I am going to help you as an architect and bring you out of the museum, as if up to another level. I don’t think I completely agree with Buren, he says also I don’t know if it possible as well though.

During the first year my position was that I didn’t want to care about what I am, my position was that of course we can recognize my work, there was no issue, I don’t want to be my work, if it is me or not. I never tried until now to join the things I did… I still don’t want to film myself and so on, but I want to link together, a navigation of ending the school with something that connects my interests, even if it is temporary. Because of the fact that I have to take a lot of decisions and positions maybe I would be more comfortable with dealing with a precise goal. Like last year for the exhibition design, it was one afternoon to think about. It was easier as there was material and a goal and this wasn’t philosophical, but precise without needing much philosophical insight. It became like a mathematical equation that I can solve. I have the feeling I can't see what is in common between my own work, until now I have never tried to find a line ...and now for the temporary goal of the end of the school, there is this.
